Young lady, in this house we obey the laws of thermodynamics! - Homer J Simpson

I studied physics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. My Ph.D. thesis was accomplished under the guidance of Prof. Pierre Gaspard in the field of nonequilibrium statistical thermodynamics. Therein I explored the dissipation and transport properties of nanoscopic systems. I did a postdoc in the laboratory of Prof. Xiao-Jing Wang at Yale University where I investigated neural computation and memory in cortical circuits (see Research section).
