I'm a researcher at the Université
libre de Bruxelles (ULB), the French-speaking university in
Brussels. I'm born in Lvov
(Ukraine) in 1976, but emigrate to Belgium with my parents
at the age of five. I've grown in Brussels
and currently live there.
When it comes to science, my domain is Physics.
That's why you'll find a lot of Physics in these pages.

I'm interested in quantum physics, especially control of
elementary quantum systems such as photons and atoms. I call this quantum
engineering.
Please read my quantum
engineering manifesto to understand why I consider this

I work on:

- Trapping of cold atoms in optical tweezers
- Single photon sources based on colloïdal quantum dots
