Research

My main research interests are market design and finance.
I study how the design of central bank liquidity auctions impacts banks' funding cost, financial stability and the structure of the secondary interbank market.
I work under the direction of Estelle Cantillon and Hugues Pirotte.

Work in Progress

Central Bank Liquidity Auctions and Collateral Quality (joint with Daan Struyven) Building on Paul Klemperer’s work for the Bank of England, we extend the standard model of central bank market operations to allow for two types of collaterals. We find that with two interest rates the central bank can control both the level and the dispersion of banks' funding costs.

This is work in progress, please check the website regularly for new versions.
