2008. PhD in Biological Sciences (FRIA) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB, Belgium), supervised by Prof. Jean-Christophe de Biseau (ULB, Belgium) and co-supervised by Prof. Florian P. Schiestl (University of Zürich, Switzerland).

2008-2012. Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Belgian Fund for Scientific Research (FRS-FNRS), based at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB, Belgium), co-supervised by Prof. Florian P. Schiestl (University of Zürich, Switzerland).
