PAUL KLEIN received the Physical Therapy degree, the Agregation to higher secondary
education degree and the Ph.D. in Physical Therapy degree from the University of
Brussels (ULB), Belgium, in 1978, 1979 and 1987 respectively. He obtained a Diploma in Osteopathy (DO) in 1986 at the European School of Osteopathy (Maidstone, Kent, UK). In 1999 he obtained a postgraduate diploma (DEA) in Philosophy, History and Ethics in Medical Sciences. He is currently Head of the Research Unit in Manual Therapies at the Sports and Physical Therapy School (ULB), Professor of Methodology in Manual Therapy and of Epistemology of Manual Therapies (post-graduate program at the ULB). He is guest lecturer in Biomechanics of the Joints at different Osteopathy Schools (Brussels, Namur, Lausanne (CH), Vienna (A) and at the OSD (D)). His main interests include biomechanics of the joints and in the field of manipulative techniques (osteopathy, chiropractic, manual medicine, manual therapy). He is member of several scientific societies in biomechanics and member of the Belgian Academy of Osteopathy. |
