I studied at the Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), where I graduated and obtained a Master
in Civil engineering (2000), a Master in Advanced Studies (2002), and a PhD in Applied Sciences (2004).
Then, I undertook post-doctoral research in aeronautical design at Cenaero
(Belgium), followed by a two-year visit at the Université de Technologie de
Compiègne (France).
I am now Associate Professor at the Building, Architecture &
Town planning Department (BATir) in the Brussels School of Engineering/École polytechnique de Bruxelles
(Université libre de Bruxelles), and my current research interests
include multidisciplinary design optimization, multicriteria evolutionary
algorithms, metamodeling techniques, and optimization under uncertainty.
