GESTS410 Corporate Valuation and Financing

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Allow student to understand the concepts linked to financial valuation. The course will cover the following topics: investement choice, the impact of the capital structure on investment decisions (Tax shield, wacc), the value of firm (with and without taxes), optimal capital structure, raising funds and going public, mergers and acquisition and risky debt.
